Thank you!
Hey, to start off this isn't really a question, it's more of a thank you! Since the fourth grade I always wanted to play the flute, but all my parents would let me play was the trumpet since they were determined I'd quit after a year and my cousin bought one and just quit that year. I hated the instrument, but didn't want to quit because there was something about music that made me want to still be in the environment.
Fast forward to high school. I got the opportunity to play my neighbor's saxophone right after they quit and taught myself to the level I was on trumpet in 2 weeks! From there I moved to Clarinet and then finally to flute! I now can play 9 instruments, 8 self taught, but my favorite was flute and it was definitely one of the hardest ones to self teach, but I used your videos to help get me started and I just wanted to thank you soo much, especially because with your help Ii received a scholarship for flute!
You seem like such a patient and nice person and are very good with explaining! I'll be majoring in music education in the fall and will be using a lot of the things you explained to help teach my students hopefully! Thanks again and keep inspiring others!
