REALLY WEIRD TRILL!!!

I'm playing this piece of music that is in the key of E, so there is C# in the key signature. I also have an accidental for Bb and that note has a trill. Is there any way to finger that other than just moving my first finger and thumb together? Thanks!
Emily

Hi, Emily.

That is a strange trill. Check your music to be sure that the C really is sharp and doesn't have a natural sign. That trill would be easy: Just put your left thumb on the B-flat key and trill that.

If you're really trilling from B-flat to C-sharp, I don't know of another fingering besides the index finger and thumb. If the piece isn't too fast, you could just play a couple of gentle shakes (trills back and forth) so it doesn't sound too weird.
