The songs on this album are all about confronting limitations -- finding out that your endurance isn't infinite, and that you have a breaking point. Each tune, as it grew in Polly's mind, turned out to be about getting to the limits of endurance, and the aftermath of that moment.

Composer/performer/bandleader Polly Moller improvises on the flute and bass flute. She also composes, creates performance art, and heads up a revolving cast of characters called Polly Moller & Company. Since 1995, she's recorded three solo albums and performed in diverse venues all over the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

Polly has been awarded grants by the American Composers Forum Subito Program, the American Composers Forum Community Partners Program, and the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts. Her recordings have been released on Albany Records, Pax Recordings, Mindspore Records, and Silver Wheel Music.
