My flute story

I have played the flute since the 5th grade and played all through high school.

I was a member of the Iowa All-State Band and Iowa All-State Orchestra in high school.

I majored in flute performance at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. My teacher was Nathan Jones.

In 1997, I auditioned for and was accepted as a member of the Professional Flute Choir at the National Flute Association Convention in Phoenix, Arizona.

I play with my church's orchestra.
