Is learning to play the flute complicated?

by Bethany

Question: I am going to try a flute, but I want to know if it is a complicated thing to learn.

Answer: I don't believe that learning to play the flute is complicated. Just take it one step at a time and don't expect to learn it overnight. It will be great if you can take lessons from a flute teacher. You can also check out the flute lessons on my site.

If you're learning on your own, I recommend this lesson book because it has a play-along CD, good fingering chart and it starts with the basics...

Good luck with the flute and have fun!

Is playing the flute complicated
by: Anonymous

I think that learning to playing any kind of instrument takes patience.

When I started in the sixth grade, I decided to learn to play the flute. After I got my flute, it took me a whole week of practicing to blow right to make a sound come out when I wanted it to come out. Even though it took me a week, I have never regretted learning to play the flute and I love it!

I hope you like it. Just remember to practice, practice, practice. And it is okay to make mistakes when learning, fore how will we learn if we don't make mistakes to learn from?

Good luck!
