Flute World

Flute World is a fantastic store just outside of Detroit, Michigan. They carry almost every brand of flute you can image, or they can get it for you.

A large number of practice rooms are available for trying out flutes.

Their web site has a large listing of used flutes for sale as well, and you can sell your flute on consignment through them.

Accessories, CDs, sheet music and more are carried in the store, too.

The store maintains an expert repair department.

I had the opportunity to visit Flute World when a student of mine was purchasing a new flute. Talk about a kid in a candy store. It made me want to move to Detroit!
