Flute music publishers

Flute music publishers are a good source for pieces composed by less well known composers, i.e., not Bach and Mozart, as well as current composers.

These days, many composers self-publish, which is wonderful, but it is also difficult to find out about their works.

This web site provides a listing of flute music publishers. There is also a listing of free flute music on-line. That's a pretty good deal!

You are likely to find works by composers who are also flutists among these publishers.

John Ranck, D.M.A, professor of flute at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, maintains this excellent resource for flutists.
