David Ferneau![]() David Ferneau is an outstanding young musician. He plays classical and jazz trombone, as well as classical piano. David won many awards throughout high school. He was selected four years for the Iowa All-State Music Festival, twice for band and twice for orchestra. As a junior, he was first chair in the band and his senior year he was principal in the orchestra. He is now a student at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. David recently received an Honorable Mention Award in the International Trombone Association Robert Marsteller Trombone Competition.
Here David plays "Ballade" by Eugene Bozza. David's accompanist is his brother, Ryan Ferneau.
David plays Chopin's Sonata in B minor (first movement) at the Iowa State Fair...
