D to Bb trill fingering

by Annie

Question: Do you know of a shortcut fingering to play D/Bb at trill speed in the 2nd 8ve (as in Finzi-In Terra Pax)

Answer: I'd be happy to suggest a fingering. Can you tell me what octaves the notes are in?

Is the D on the fourth line of the staff? Is the B-flat on the third line or above the staff?

D/Bb trill fingering
by: Annie

Its ok I think I've sorted it (the D is 3rd space above stave & Bb 2nd space above stave) - finger G (mddle) & overblow to get the D harmonic above it then you can finger the Bb normally (with thumb on Bb key.)It a bit precarious but less crashing about than trying to finger it out correctly!! I'd be pleased to hear of any better alternatives though.

Hi, again.

As far as I know, that's the best way to do it.

Good luck!
