Chicago Flute Festival 2009

The Chicago Flute Club will host the Chicago Flute Festival 2009 on November 7 and 8, 2009 at two locations in downtown Evanston, IL. The multi-day event showcases internationally-renowned soloists, a world premiere, exhibits, Young Artists Competition, and much more.

The Festival locations will be the Hotel Orrington (1710 Orrington Ave.) and Music Institute of Chicago’s Nichols Hall (1490 Chicago Ave.).

The Festival will feature several world-renowned performers including William Bennett, Denis Bouriakov, Marco Granados, and Matthias Ziegler. Chicago musicians who will be featured in recital, master classes, and demonstrations include Lita Grier, Walfrid Kujala, Susan Levitin and Carlyn Lloyd.
