Body beat metronome

body beat metronomeThe body beat metronome is a different way of learning to maintain steady rhythm. It could work even better for you.

Instead of clicking an audible beat, this metronome generates a pulsing vibration which enables you to internalize the beat.

In this way, your brain can stay focused on playing your instrument rather than needing part of it to think about tempo. Tempo becomes part of your body.

The metronome comes in two parts: One part controls the speed of the beat and the other is a small clip that attaches to your clothing.

In addition, the metronome is easier on your ears. No more loud clicking!

An A=440 reference tone is included on this lightweight metronome.

Students are typically resistant to metronomes, so this fun twist on the old clickers could really encourage them to at least give metronomes a try.

For us old folks who are actually willing to try new things (), you'll find it a great resource. Try it out!

Just one note of caution: Don't place the clip too close to your heart, especially if you have a pacemaker!
